So It’s Been a Minute…

I’m sorry. I suck. I know.

I’m not the best blogger in the world, but you guys already knew that. The last few months have been, well, they’ve not been the most wonderful. There hasn’t really been much going on in Camp Kinkade worth talking about anyway, so I suppose we’ll say I’ve been on hiatus.

Sort of.

The cowboy novel has been submitted and we’re nearing the end of the waiting period on that one. I’m on pins and needles with it. I want it to be accepted. I really do. I’m just a bit afraid of the commitment that particular company may come with. Either way, I’ll burn that bridge when I get to it.

There’s also another novel in the mix – one that I wrote several years ago and put on hold. It has resurfaced and after a thorough edit (I wrote this one before I really knew how to write books), it may be on the market as well.

Other than that I’ve dealt with sickness, a death in the family, an overabundance of day job, and general laziness all the way around. Oh, and snow. It’s been snowing like crazy in South Carolina, which is something odd for us hot-blooded creatures down here.

So yeah, it’s been a minute, but it’s been an interesting one.
