Things haven’t been fun lately. I’m sure you all know that. God knows I’ve whined about it enough… it’s awful, it really, really is.

But I’m done with that. I’m slowly trying to wipe the negativity out of my life and find balance again. I need my inner peace. I need positivity and light. And the best way to do that, I’ve realized, is to surround myself with the things I love.

Books. And authors. So I created:

This is a huge, month-long promotional opportunity for all you authors out there who have books in your backlist that you want to pimp out to the world. What I’m looking for is your absolute favorite book from your backlist. I also want to know why you love it. Then, I want to pimp it out for the rest of the world to see because I think your favorite book should be everyone else’s favorite book too.

By sharing the love, I get to share in the happiness while helping others just like me.  Any author from any genre is welcome to play along. I have twenty-six spots available. Thirteen will run on this blog for anyone wanting to promote a happy ever after (romance is key here!), and thirteen designated for the more speculative genres (sci-fi, fantasy, horror, urban fantasy, steampunk, etc…) will be hosted on my sister-blog, S.H. Roddey’s Haunted Head. Posts will go up Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays all month long. Each one comes with a mini-interview and a taste of the book in question.
