Back again with the same (still untitled) story as last week…only a little farther ahead. I figure doing it this way will keep me motivated to finish it.
The Six:
Sadie and Markus stood side by side in the silent, empty house, listening to the sounds of their allies’ departure. A new heaviness fell over Markus’ heart as the reality of their situation sank in. They were alone again. The hunters drew closer with each breath. Right now, there were no guarantees of safety, no promises; no tomorrows.
Without second thought, Markus pulled Sadie against him and kissed her.
Where to go for more:

Great use of language there! I hope they make it through the night.
Thanks! I hope they do, too.
Love that he took the opportunity when danger was all around to kiss her. Shows his priorities are right! Great six, Siobhan!
Thanks, Jean!
Hey… he’s a guy, and when all else fails, where to their minds go??? 🙂
Great six! Hope they see tomorrow and get the chance to explore more of each other because of that kiss.
Thank you! I’m sure there will be much more to come from these two. 🙂
Wow, very good. Love it.
Thank you! 🙂
Ahh, see…hot….danger and lust….(well kiss…but I’m calling it a lust …. lol) totally hot 😛
Heh…heh heh… you haven’t seen what immediately follows that kiss, either… 🙂
Nice, nice. Hmm, what will happen after the kiss? 🙂
I would have done the same! Great six!
What Marcus did makes sense. When all else fails and you might die, kiss the girl
That’s a GREAT set up. Wonderful six!
Thank you!
Great time to go in for the kiss! Nice job building up to that moment. More to come? Sensational six!
Thank you! And oh, yes… much more to come. I’m hoping that using this as my SSS victim will help me finish it. 🙂
Kiss her while you can. I love that.
Love the emotion!
That’s right, Markus. Seize the moment!
Nothing like feeling alone in the world to make you reach out…
“No promises; no tomorrow.” The depth of those words touches me. Great post!
