Most people complain that Monday is the worst day of the week.  I beg to differ.

I’m a firm believer that Tuesday is the most depressing day of the week.  It isn’t Monday, so it doesn’t have an excuse to be annoying.  It’s sort of a non-day, far enough away from Friday to still be irritating as all get-out, and close enough to Monday to have residual aggravation.  Plus Tuesday is maintenance day on Warcraft, so I don’t get to feed the addiction until after work.

Wednesdays don’t bother me.  They mean we’re half-way through the week, and I’m one day closer to my standing writing-date with Lexxx.

Thursdays… no matter how awful the day might be, I have two reasons to love it:  (1) it’s almost the end of the week, and (2) I get to play with Lexxx without the boys.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Rooster and Puddin’ absolutely to bits, but I don’t want to spend all my time with either one of them.

Friday-Sunday are pretty self-explanatory in the “why I like them” category.

But Tuesdays?

Meh.

Nothing good ever really happens on a Tuesday.  One Tuesday a week also means a Board Meeting… and a late one, at that.  Being stuck at work until 8:00 (and sometimes later) on a Tuesday is not fun AT ALL.  I can think of much better things I’d like to do than be stuck at work with no access to my other world.

At least on this Tuesday, Bossman isn’t here, and I have plenty of down-time.  I keep my work mostly caught up for just such occasions.

That having been said, let’s see how productive I can be today.
